The first key that we will get into here is known as “TRAFFIC”. Traffic is terribly important to a business but what does this actually mean? What it means when someone talks about a business’s traffic are the people that come by or look at what the business has to offer. Now don’t get this confused with actual buyers. These people are just the ones that see the business on any level.

Think of a mall for a second, why do you think so many businesses like to be in a mall of some sort. Because of all of the people that are in the mall, the traffic. The more traffic that you have passing by and seeing your business the more people you will actually have stopping in and buying what your business is offering.

This leads us to the second key that we’ll be getting into here, “CONVERSION”. Now what does conversion mean for a business? This is the ratio between the amount of traffic the business has and the number of people that say yes and buy. Once you know that this is, you want to make sure that you are always improving it.

Let’s look at an example of how this can work. Say you have 100 people pass by your business and from that 100 people you make 5 sales. This is a sales rate of 5%. Now let’s say that you change your sales method somehow and from this change you now make 8 sales per 100 people. You now have an 8% conversion rate. So basically the higher your conversion rate is the more sales and money your business will make for the same amount of energy you put out in your marketing.

So think about combining these 2 keys in your home based business. Through focusing on these 2 things, your traffic and your conversions, it will really not be long till your business start growing like mad and you will be pulling in the cash hand over fist.

If not, why should he listen to a friend who is probably one paycheck away from being broke?

These are only a few of the objections one can expect to hear. The important part about recruiting is to be ready for the common objections. It will actually become fun waiting to hear an objection. Once an associate has heard the same objection over and over, he will be ready to address it immediately.

There are those ho do not want to talk to leads, however. For those people, there are companies who will call leads. They charge by the hour. Some would never think of hiring someone else to make their calls. But some either do not have the time or the desire to speak to people about joining their company.
